These sites are getting thousands of visits using this one tip

How several websites are getting highly needed traffic through glossary pages within their topics of focus.

Welcome to the newsletter that is here to teach you how to get organic traffic that is most likely to convert into revenue for your website.

The best part about SEO is that you don’t really need to invent new ways of doing it. Just have a look at what the successful websites are doing, really study them, and do exactly the same - but for your niche.

Today’s SEO tip is quite simple.

While I was doing a lot of research a few months ago into how to skyrocket organic traffic for a client, I came across a very similar pattern I had not thought of before.

Glossary pages. Good old glossary pages, like in the books, but now on websites.

By definition - glossary means, an alphabetical list of terms about a subject with brief explanations. Call it a brief dictionary for any subject.

For instance, if you run an ecommerce website selling home decor items, you would be looking to create an alphabetical list of terms about home decor with brief explanations for each term in its own page. So a home decor glossary.

With AdQuick, you can now easily plan, deploy and measure campaigns just as easily as digital ads, making them a no-brainer to add to your team’s toolbox.

Before diving deeper into this, I’d like to show you some mouthwatering metrics that I was able to pull out of Ahrefs.

Site 1: Mailchimp marketing glossary

82 pages of marketing terms definitions bringing in approximately 434k monthly visits.

Site 2: Usertesting glossary

134 pages of user testing terms definitions bringing in 10k monthly visits.

Site 3: Moma glossary

328 pages of gallery and art terms definitions bringing in 57k monthly visits.

Site 4: Product Plan glossary

306 pages of product terms definitions bringing in 356k monthly visits.

As you can see, these are just 4 websites out of 35 websites I researched. This strategy does have its challenges, like, if you produce too many pages too fast, indexing them will take ages and you could spook the algorithm to thinking you are spamming it.

Or you could index all your pages and not be able to pull the same numbers as the websites above.

That said, more than 65% of the websites I looked at were able to gunner a couple of thousands of monthly visits from the glossary pages. This means, at best, you should try.

And at worst, if it doesn’t work right off the bat, be patient, build both internal and external backlinks to those pages, then let them sit for a couple of weeks.

Are you thinking about doing this for your own website? We know the work it takes and best to say, it’s not an easy strategy to implement.
